 The 5th Women Petanque World Championships of Shooting was a match between France and Spain, while the 3rd rank was for Thailand and Canada. Angelique Papon from France repeated her 2007 - 2008 Shooting Championship in Grenoble and Samsun with her 2009 Championship in Suphan Buri. Rosario Ines from Spain won the Silver Medal, while Maryse Bergeron from Canada and Phantipha Wongchevej from Thailand won the Bronze Medal.
